Travel Agents International is a full service travel agency specializing in Unique, Deluxe, Exotic Journeys for the Discriminating Traveler. We are located at Gayton Crossing Shopping Center, an upscale, colonial style, 'destination' shopping center in Richmond's Far West End. Ruth and Brooks Bowen, CTCs, owners, have been established in business here since February, 1984, and have a staff of Worldwide Leisure and Business Travel Specialists, who collectively have been to every country in the world except two. We are members of an International Travel Network. At the inception of our business we were affiliated with Travel Agents International, an international franchise system of over 350 offices nationwide, each independently owned and operated. With them we were an award-winning travel agency for thirteen years, and the #1 award-winning agency for the last two years of their existence as a franchise system. The Travel Agents International franchise company was purchased by Carlson Companies in 1997, with whom we continue to be affiliated as members of Results! Travel, through whom we have additional buying power and services to benefit our company and our clientele. The Agency Owners
are knowledgeable, experienced travel business managers who have personally traveled the
world and are integrally involved in the agency's operations and activities, as well as
having assembled a staff of credentialed travel associates specializing in destinations
and different types and styles of travel. We are proud of Who We Are - dedicated, hard-working professionals who love travel and the business we are in. We constantly strive to reach improved levels of performance for our clients, associates and ourselves. Our professional affiliations reflect our interest in being good citizens in our industry, our community, our neighborhood and the world.
