Virtually untouched by tourism until the early 1990s, Lanai is known as "The Private Island". Once supported by thriving pineapple crops, this land now boasts two elegant resort hotels and a host of exciting activities. On land, you can improve your swing on challenging golf courses. Give your hips a workout at hula lessons. Or work on your backhand on the tennis courts. For an exciting adventure, try horseback riding or mountain biking. Water lovers can soak up fun on an ocean-raft tour or a whale-watching cruise. Explore the underwater depths by scuba diving or snorkeling; or catch your own supper on a deep sea fishing expedition, where you can pull in mahi mahi and wahoo.

LANAI WEATHER: Visitors to Lanai will find its climate relatively uniform throughout the year, with summer high temperatures ranging from 80-90 degrees and winter low temperatures ranging between 54 to 67 degrees.
