SIGN ON FOR HAWAII MOVIE TOURS and see Jurassic Park's T-res turf, or swing over a river on a rope a la Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark. The vans have screens and you can match the movie to the scenery.

EXPLORE THE LAZY WAILUA RIVER by kayak and paddle into the green heart of Kauai. Bring a picnic lunch.

HIKE THE FAMED KALALAU TRAL along the Na Pali Coast. Hint for the lazy: Some of the best scenery is in the first mile. You can turn around after that.

INSIDER'S HOT TIP - Shop for great finds at Bambulei (808/823-8641) in Wailua, including vintage aloha shirts, the latest local fashions, quirky housewares and arty objects.
