DAY 1: Depart USA for Glasgow, Scotland. DAY 2: You'll be met by a representative to assist you with your luggage, present you with a Golf Travel Guidebook, show you to your waiting rental vehicle and the Turnberry Hotel. The rest of the day you're free to relax, unpack and become acquainted with the numerous amenities of the hotel. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the TURNBERRY HOTEL. DAY 3: After breakfast, golf has been arranged on the TURNBERRY AILSA COURSE, the rigorous 6440-yard test of golf that was host once again for the 1994 British Open and a second round of golf will be played at the highly-ranked TURNBERRY ARRAN COURSE, named after the island of Arran, which is visible off the coast on a clear day, with the course itself offering 6014 yards of demanding golf. Non-golfers may wish to visit Culzean Castle. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the TURNBERRY HOTEL. DAY 4: After breakfast, golf has been arranged at the distinguished PRESTWICK GOLF CLUB, founded in 1851 and host of the inaugural British Open. Non-golfers may wish to sightsee in the town of Ayr , birthplace of the poet, Robert Burns. After golf, you will transfer to the world class Gleneagles Hotel, set amid wildwoods and hills, offering the finest touches of service and comfort and stay overnight at the GLENEAGLES HOTEL. DAY 5: After breakfast, golf has been arranged on the GLENEAGLES KINGS COURSE, the longest of the courses featuring an out and back layout with superb views of mountains and glens at every turn. Non-golfers may wish to tour Scone Palace, which houses a magnificent collection of porcelain, furniture, ivories, clocks and needlework. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the GLENEAGLES HOTEL. DAY 6: After breakfast, you'll transfer to the St. Andrews Old Course Hotel, which overlooks the 17th fairway of the Old Course, the birthplace of golf, where your accommodations complement the world's finest golf with superb food, outstanding service, excellent wines and friendly bar staff. You'll golf ST. ANDREWS NEW COURSE, built in 1895, featuring tight fairways and demanding a precise tee game. Non-golfers may choose to visit the historic town of St.Andrews, home of Britain's oldest university. Stay overnight at the ST. ANDREWS OLD COURSE HOTEL. DAY 7: DAY 8: After breakfast, begin your return home. DAY 1: Depart USA for Edinburgh, Scotland. DAY 2: You'll be met by a representative to assist you with your luggage, present you with a Golf Travel Guidebook, show you to your waiting rental vehicle and the MARINE HOTEL. The rest of the day is free to unpack and relax. DAY 3: After breakfast, golf has been arranged at NORTH BERWICK GOLF COURSE, founded in 1832, where the club is one of the oldest in the world and the 6,420 yards of 'trickery' demands a full repertoire of shot-making as every hole will be memorable (there are blind shots across the bay and bunkers in which you can disappear from sight) but it will be great fun and a real test of your skill. Non-golfers can sightsee in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh, named the 'Athens of the North', with places of interest that will include the Castle, Holyrood Palace, St. Giles Cathedral and the Royal Mile, or browsing the many fine shops found on Princess Street. Stay overnight at the MARINE HOTEL. DAY 4: After breakfast, golf has been arranged on GULLANE NO. 1 COURSE. (There are three magnificent courses linked as one, and the finish on 18 attracts townsfolk and visitors alike.) A second round of golf has been arranged on GULLANE NO. 2, a demanding challenge with thirteen par 4's. Non-golfers may enjoy a visit to nearby Hopetoun House, an excellent museum filled with fascinating relics of a bygone age. Stay overnight at the MARINE HOTEL. DAY 5: After breakfast, transfer to the St. Andrews Golf Hotel. Golf has been arranged on the ST. ANDREWS NEW COURSE with tight fairways that demand a precise tee game. Non-golfers are likely to visit Falkland Palace, a former favorite seat of James V and his daughter, Mary Queen of Scots. Stay overnight at the ST. ANDREWS GOLF HOTEL. DAY 6: After breakfast, golf has been arranged across the River Tay at the CARNOUSTIE GOLF CLUB, host of the 1999 British Open, where, of all the championship links, it is possibly the most challenging, both mentally and physically, with 'devastating' roughs, fast greens and intolerant winds. (A complete test!) Non-golfers may enjoy visiting the 9th Century Glamis Castle, the setting for Shakespeare's MacBeth. Stay overnight at the ST. ANDREWS GOLF HOTEL.
