Arrange your South Florida Golf Travel with our Golf Specialists! SOUTH FLORIDA GOLF COURSES Well-maintained, target-oriented, Florida-style championship golf with plenty of palm trees and water. Beautiful southern mansion clubhouse. Has beautifully contoured fairways, tiered greens, a variety of lakes and waterways, and an experienced staff. Former home to the LPGA Mazda Classic, this northern-looking course features large oak trees, rolling hills, sculpted greens and dramatic bunkers.
Former host of 15 PGA and LPGA tour events, including the Honda Classic and the Tournament Players Championship, it offers a choice of two well-maintained courses. THE EAST (TOURNAMENT) COURSE - Characterized by large greens, strategic bunkers and water. THE WEST COURSE - A slightly shorter shotmaker's course, with narrow fairways and well bunkered greens. Gently rolling terrain, tropical foliage and waterways frame it, and it has all the amenities, service and outstanding course condition of a private country club. Reminiscent of a Scottish links, featuring rolling hills, fairway moguls, natural wetlands, undulating greens and plenty of water. (One of Florida's finest and most unusual public golf courses.)
CHAMPION COURSE - Host to numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Annual PGA Seniors' Championships. (107 bunkers and 16 water hazards) GENERAL COURSE - Named for its designer, Arnold Palmer, it's reminiscent of a Scottish links. ESTATE COURSE - Primary site for Club Professional's Winter Tournament Program. SQUIRE COURSE - Named after Gene Sarazen, it is shorter than the others, but a thinking man's course that requires precise shot-making. HAIG COURSE - The original PGA National course, small, enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. (Rose bushes bloom at the 150 yard markers.) Raptor
Bay Golf Course
Unlike most Florida courses, Raptor Bay has no formal bunker or roughs. Instead, Floyd used natural elevation changes, native vegetation, mature trees, and grass mowed evenly to fairway height to challenge players' placement and control. The bald eagle, gopher tortoise, and other wildlife species that call the course home provide additional challenges - in defying players to keep their eye on the ball. Home of the PGA tour's Honda Classic, and destined to become one of the finest daily fee clubs in the country, its course has over 100 bunkers, a multitude of trees, gently rolling terrain, and a network of beautiful lakes.
