2003, the Residents purchased the ship, in effect creating the world's largest private
yacht and causing a surge in apartment sales. The new resident-owners are intent on

residents of The World have enjoyed an amazing lifestyle onboard the only resort
community at sea that circumnavigates the globe, offering you the choice of owning a home
or enjoying a unique vacation experience.

travel the world without leaving behind the comforts of home includes two additional
purchase options: new one-bedroom apartment residences and studio residences.

pre-purchase, each of The World's new fully furnished, one-bedroom apartments

tones, rich woods and elegant furnishings.
Each new one-bedroom unit
will be created by combining two of The World's existing studio residences. A model
one-bedroom apartment is currently available for viewing onboard The World.

FOUR
SEASONS HOTELS
Plans Cruise Ship Launch
In
an intriguing entry into the luxury cruise market, FOUR SEASONS HOTELS AND RESORTS has
signed a contract with Finland's Kvaerner Masa-Yards to build a 42,000-ton
"residential ship." The M/S Four Seasons to operate under a similar
plan as that of ResidenSea, a condos-at-sea vessel, only all the cabins will be sold as
residences instead of having a mix of residents and cruise vacationers. The ship will be
comprised of 100 "residences," according to a release from Kvaerner Masa-Yards,
"ranging in size from 125 to 320 square meters." Also, the conditional contract
includes an option to contract a similar vessel as soon as the sales targets for
residences have been reached for the second vessel.
Construction won't begin until Four Seasons reaches undisclosed sales targets for the
vessels (no prices were announced), but the shipyard anticipates it will begin to build M/S
Four Seasons. The shipbuilding process is estimated to take.

Four Seasons Ocean Residences (AKA Cruise Ship)
A permanent address
that’s an everchanging address… now that’s a cool idea. The ship will include 100 luxury apartments,
with all the indulgent amenities for which Four Seasons is famous (spa, steam room, pool
and cabanas, jogging track and fitness center, even… golf?) Grab a stake before they
sell out. From $400,000 for a one-month timeshare for 50 years.
