This is a private retreat off the northwest coast of Tortola, where you can rent a room or the entire island. Spread over 850 acres, Guana Island can accommodate up to 30 guests, whether individually, or as a group. Once a sugar-cane plantation owned by American Quakers, the island now offers guests the ultimate in seclusion and luxury. The island's 15 cottages each feature a private terrace offering views of the Atlantic and the Caribbean. North Beach Cottage features its own living room and kitchen, terraces and a private pool. Guana Island can be rented to groups for $87,500. This includes three meals per day plus wine, afternoon coffee and tea, three roundtrip group boat transfers, a beach barbecue and use of tennis courts, small sailboats, kayaks, windsurfers, and snorkeling and fishing equipment. Other options at an additional cost are a sunset cruise, beach party, day sail on a chartered catamaran, waterskiing, day trips, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, lessons with a tennis pro and massages.
