The waters of the Turks & Caicos are also a diver's dream.

But don't overlook the Turks & Caicos. Rising from vast underwater canyons, the chain is ringed by one of the world's largest reefs. Divers are likely to encounter sea turtles; angel, trumpet and clown fish; grouper, snappers, and schools of grunts, as well as a multicolored sponges and coral. In summer, divers and snorkelers meet with manta rays and other denizens of the deep. Through April, more than 2,500 Atlantic humpback whales pass by on their annual migration, serenading all with underwater mating songs.
