Houses have always gone by names until recently when they were issued numbers.

SEPTEMBER is the month that Cricket Season ends and Soccer Season begins. It is also the month that Lobster Season begins.

There are 6 dolphins at Dolphin Quest. They are Bailey, Gibbs, Cirrus, Caliban, Delber and Khyber.

OCTOBER is the month of the 'Bermuda Open Golf Championship for Men', the 'Around the Sound Swim', and the 'Cat Fancier's Show'.  (Also, the 31st is HALLOWEEN and Daylight Savings ends.)

Gold Cup starts on October 16th.

Bermuda roofs are made from Bermuda slate and timber. The first settlers did not know how to build anything other than boats so, therefore, they look like an upside-down boat. (Rain water is collected on Bermuda roofs and filtered and stored in a tank under each house.)

November 1st is 'Skippy Peanut Butter Kick Junior Karate Tournament' day.

The 11th of November is 'Remembrance Day'.

NOVEMBER is the month of the 'World Rugby Classic' and the 'International Dog Show'.

DECEMBER is the month of the Coral Beach Junior Tennis Open.

Christmas Day is December 25th. Boxing Day is the 26th. Both are holidays in Bermuda.

Poinsettias, or the 'Christmas bush', is plentiful in Bermuda at Christmas Time.

In Bermuda, most Christmas trees come from Canada.

Snow reportedly fell in Bermuda in February, 1784.
